From May 14th to 15th in Vienna (Austria), within the frame of Nuclear Security Series 1 (NSS1), Polimaster participated in the Consultancy Meeting in Preparation for the Technical Meeting on Techniques for Determining Minimum Detectable Quantities and Alarm Threshold.
Polimaster presented its RPM Series (both fixed and deployable) and shared its vision on perspectives of further development and standardization issues. Experts from Polimaster and IAEA have discussed several technical questions about the equipment operation algorithms and shared their views on ways to engage in preparation for the NSS1 auditing. After the presentations of other vendors, the final round-table talk with IAEA experts was held.
As a result of the meeting IAEA experts highlighted the major points and further steps for preparation for the NSS1 auditing.
