Part 2. Opening full-scale manufacturing
Following the founding of Polimaster, Inc. in the United States and its operational success in the new market, Polimaster embarked on the next challenge to meet the rapidly growing demand for its products. In 2006, to fulfill sales in the United States, Polimaster established a new full-scale manufacturing company Polimaster Technology, Inc. (which was later merged with Polimaster, Inc.), and branched out its facilities to Sterling, Virginia. This location in the Dulles Technology Corridor (a.k.a. - the "Silicon Valley of the East Coast") was strategically chosen for its vast technical resources, which enabled Polimaster to provide high-quality products and self-reliant technical support for the North and South American markets.
The Sterling facility, which initially occupied one industrial space unit, eventually doubled in size and expanded into the state-of-the-art manufacturing hub equipped with advanced technology, multifunctional machinery, and a top-notch workforce for producing, calibrating, and maintaining our high-precision devices.
The full-scale manufacturing location in the United States became a bridge that led to the development of next-generation radiation detection solutions. We will take a deep dive into learning more about these advancements in our next post.
