Vehicle-based radiation portal monitors for detection on the go.
The PoliGate™ Mobile MDS is a complex solution designed for the automatic scanning of fixed or mobile objects to detect illicit trafficking of radioactive substances and materials. The vehicle-integrated system is highly customizable and available in numerous modifications to cater to the specific requirements of the customers. The vehicle model used for the MDS can differ depending on the needs of the user.
When it comes to securing borders, emergency response, and any situation where rapid response is vital, the PoliGate™ Mobile is a game-changer. Its mobile design allows for quick deployment at strategic locations, enabling an efficient inspection (detection, localization, measurement, and identification) of vehicles, cargo, and pedestrians for potential radioactive threats in any place.

The MDS is intended for:
- Automatic scanning of fixed or mobile objects, including those located on or within transport vehicles.
- Temporary control posts of radioactive control aimed to detect illicit trafficking of radioactive substances and materials.
- Radioactive control at checkpoints that are not equipped with radiation portal monitors or at temporary control posts.
- Localization and identification of the detected (interdicted) radioactive materials.
- Environment contamination monitoring both for emergency and routine control.
- Real-time reporting and transfer of the information obtained from the incident site to the control center for expert support and prompt decision-making.
The MDS is equipped with :
- The Vehicle-based Radiation Portal Monitor for prompt detection of gamma and neutron radiation in stationary and moving objects, such as vehicles, pedestrians, and cargo. One or two gamma-neutron detection blocks can be installed in one vehicle (on both sides).
- The PM1703GNA-II Personal Radiation Detector for search, detection, and localization of radioactive materials.
- The PM1401K-3 Multipurpose Hand-Held Radiation Monitor/Identifier for identification of the detected (interdicted) radioactive materials.
