Gamma-neutron Personal Radiation Detector/Dosimeter.
The PM1703GNA-II MBT is a gamma-neutron modification equipped with a Bluetooth module and a Geiger-Mueller counter for extended measurement of the personal dose rate up to 200 mSv/h and personal dose up to 10 Sv.
The PM1703®-II series of personal radiation detectors are extremely sensitive and robust devices that detect and locate even trace amounts of radioactive materials.
Equipped with a clip for multiple wearing options and easy to operate even for non-specialists, the PRDs became the perfect fit as Radiation Pagers for public security agencies, including border control, rescue teams, police, and anti-terrorist units, and first responders that need to quickly search for radioactive materials before and during public mass events.

Operation principle
While ensuring high-performance detection for any scenario, the PM1703®-II PRD provides confidence in personal safety by continuously monitoring the measured dose equivalent rate and alerting the user with visual, audible, and vibration alarms when the pre-set radiation thresholds are exceeded.
The operating history is stored in the instrument‘s non-volatile memory (up to 2000 data points), protecting the data even when the battery is removed. The stored data can also be transferred to a PC via USB. The storing data format is designed to meet the ANSI N42.42.
Polimaster PRDs comply with the ANSI N42.32-2016 and IEC 62401:2017 standards, can operate in extreme temperatures, have a long-life battery, and offer a significant advantage with their NORM suppression algorithm. The algorithm differentiates alarm signals when there is an increase in natural gamma background values and detection of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM). When NORMs are detected, a green indication light is displayed. However, if other radionuclide types (IND, NUC, MED) are detected, a red indication light and sound alarm are activated. This feature ensures clear and distinct indications based on the specific type of radiation detected.
The Bluetooth module enables communication with smartphones for advanced operation via the free Polismart® App.
