Wide range gamma probe for dose rate and dose measurement.
PoliProbe G1 smart probe is equipped with an energy-compensated Geiger-Mueller tube for extended measurement of the ambient dose equivalent and ambient dose equivalent rate.
The probe is designed for integration with external processing units to either add radiation monitoring capabilities to third-party systems or extend the detection range of built-in gamma detectors. Probe readings can be monitored in real time via an external processing through RS-485 connection or a PC through USB.

Operation principle
PoliProbe® G1 Smart Probe continuously measures the ambient dose equivalent rate and accumulated dose using its built‑in energy‑compensated Geiger‑Mueller counter. The instrument’s microcontroller processes the incoming signals, applies advanced statistical algorithms for stable results, and rapidly adapts to changes in radiation intensity. Audible and visual alarms are activated when preset dose or dose‑rate thresholds are exceeded, ensuring timely notification to the user.
The probe does not contain an internal power source and operates only when connected to an external power supply. Data and control signals are exchanged via USB (connection to a PC with PoliProbe G1 Monitor User Software) or RS‑485 (connection to Polimaster’s PoliPack BRD or other external processing units).
The robust IP65‑rated enclosure and wide operating temperature range ensure reliable performance in harsh environmental conditions, making PoliProbe G1 suitable for both fixed and portable monitoring systems in civil defense, industrial safety, and scientific applications.
